A LITTLE DIRECTION GOES A LONG WAY

Vibe coding prompts, with a plan.

One giant prompt rarely gives you a finished project. These workflows help you make small, checkable changes in a sensible order.

A useful vibe coding prompt has four parts.

  1. Context: the project, framework if known, and the current behavior.
  2. One change: a clear outcome rather than a list of unrelated improvements.
  3. Boundaries: what to preserve and which files or features are out of scope.
  4. A check: the behavior you will verify before accepting the work.

These are prompts for building and fixing software. They do not turn an ordinary terminal into an AI assistant; terminal launch commands require the named assistant to be installed.
