Every task should answer a real question
We describe what the task does, when to use it, the required context, and how to check the result. Detailed guides include a specific example, common failure cases, and a way to undo the change. Quick recipes are identified as such rather than presented as comprehensive tutorials.
Testing claims have a scope
The direct editing engine is checked against disposable CSS and static HTML fixtures. Checks cover the supported edits, previews, cancellation, backups, and refusal of ambiguous input. A passing fixture is evidence about that scenario, not proof that the script fits every website.
Native Windows execution has not been verified. PowerShell wrappers are provided with that limitation. AI prompts produce project-dependent results and are not advertised as tested across every model, version, or framework.
Community review
- A contributor supplies the complete instructions, prerequisites, expected result, test evidence, and recovery guidance.
- An editor examines the exact submitted version and any project link. Automated pattern flags are hints for review, not a security certification.
- The editor approves it or requests specific changes. Only approved submissions receive public pages.
- Editing a published contribution withdraws it and resets its approval and link treatment until another review.
Contributor links
Project links start with rel="ugc nofollow". An editor can choose an ordinary followed link for an established, trustworthy contributor after review. This is discretionary attribution, not a guaranteed submission reward or a promise of search ranking credit.
Report content
Use Contact to report unsafe instructions, copied content, spam, or misleading project links. Include the affected page URL. Community content must follow the same standards as built-in material.
Corrections and updates
Authors can edit their submissions in their account. Editors can withdraw a published contribution and request corrections. Updates should reflect real changes to instructions, support, or evidence; dates are not refreshed just to make old content appear new.
Built-in content
Built-in guides are published under Building Apps Without Code. Code examples are illustrative unless a specific executed test is described. Primary documentation is linked where it helps explain a task or its limits.
